The mental suffering that we long to get rid of contains true gold. We can find this treasure to the degree that we can learn to relate to our pain differently.

The challenges and roadblocks in life that we all hope to avoid often contain hidden gold. We can find what has value and meaning in difficult situations when we learn to relate to our pain differently. A large part of my work is to help my clients do this…to release unnecessary suffering and to learn to meet the difficulties they cannot change (and of course change those they can!) This brings an increased capacity for happiness. I help my clients release the need for perfection and move instead towards completeness – holding both the joy and sorrow of life. When we learn to hold our ‘broken’ places with compassion, we feel more healthy and whole.

I enjoy working with a wide range of individuals – from young adults to those facing the later stages of life. My areas of expertise include:

  • Parenting
  • Grief and Loss
  • Life Transitions
  • LGBT Issues
  • Spiritual support
  • Creative Blocks
  • Anxiety & Depression
  • Clinical Consultation
